Meet Alex

Hi, I'm Alex, the creative force behind Portraits by Alex. Photography is more than my profession; its woven into the fabric of who I am. Whether its seniors, business clients, families and children, I bring my passion to each photoshoot. I thrive on connecting with people, making sure they are comfortable in front of the camera, because we all know that is not always easy.

When I'm not in the studio, you'll find me with my best friend and wife, Lisa. Our 30 year journey together has been full of love and laughter. From raising our 3 amazing kids to working side by side, Lisa and I are a true team. My family is at the heart of everything I do.

Beyond photography, I am a bit of an adventurer, and have a deep love for sailing, which offers me a sense of peace that complements my creative spirit. My faith plays a central role in my life, guiding my values professionally and personally. 

If you have been one of our dear clients through the years, Lisa and I want to tell you, thank you! You've all been apart of our studio adventure and truly appreciate you. We love seeing you around town, love catching up or just saying a quick hello.! I hope you have loved your portraits and you will find as time goes by they become more and more cherished.

By the way, the photos I have up, are just some fun ones from my phone. We have a studio shoot scheduled in Feb. to update our bios for the website and social media, our son Dylan who is a super talented photographer, will be taking on this hard task.
